Surveillance Matrix TuchControl supports planning using its unique multitouch capability and innovative 3D modelling engine. We can look at sensor data at a touch back through time and do trend analysis matched by visual data from video cameras to assist planning in improvement and repair regimes.

TuchControl allows a number of personnel on the same screen simultaneously – to identify, learn and assess consequences of potential situations. Collaboration

Our system architecture allows screens or reports generated from the GUI to be sent to any other person on the network. If a faulty component is found, annotation tools permit a user to annotate the screen/drawings/comments with comments and send this to the appropriate concerned individuals in the field or another desk location.

Case in Point

Ten wireless sensors were recently used to test stress levels from passenger trains on the Ben Franklin Bridge, which crosses the Delaware River from Philadelphia to Camden, New Jersey. The state believed the bridge was in need of major repairs based on advice it received from an engineering consultant but data gathered by the sensors showed the bridge was in fact secure, saving tens of thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs.

This sort of data is particularly important as the nation’s bridge population ages—the mean bridge age is now 40 years old—and traffic and truck loads continue to increase, causing more rapid deterioration.

Our rapidly deployable system modules can gather data from all these sensors and map them into our system with 3D models and GIS systems it is possible to see exactly the component that is at fault and automatically bring up the component or structure drawings
